This presentation was delivered during a seminar organized by the ISTinaD center, in partnership with the Alyarmook Public Library Committee, held in southern Khartoum in March 2023. The seminar delved into the housing and service crises prevalent in Khartoum, drawing comparisons with historical and contemporary cities worldwide that have faced or overcome similar challenges. Various solutions were explored in the context of addressing these pressing issues.
